The Nike Mamba Instinct is like a continuation for the Mentality Line which was cut from production after two very successful models.
So the Mamba Instinct was already an ultimate budget model in terms of quality, price and performance ratio. Hands down, the best team model of 2016. For 100 bucks you’re receiving one hell of a package – the upper is covered with amazing performance woven that Nike and Jordan brand use on main stream models like Air Jordan 29s’ or Air Jordan B Fly (which is another beastly budget model).
Super soft fit, tons of comfort and at the same time supportive construction is what you’re getting from that performance woven.
Going down the shoe, there’s drop in Phylon midsole for great amount of court feel and responsiveness for smaller guys, while giving quite a bit of impact protection for our bigger players out there.
Also, outdoor friendly outsole will keep you stable on the hardwood no matter court conditions. On clean courts you can forget about whipping as on the dirtier ones you might want to wipe them once or twice.
And now the best part, they cost 60 bucks… Cmon, man. You just can’t skip this deal.

So the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 is definitely forth your look regardless of your position or play style. It’s obvious that Nike made a HUGE improvement from last year’s model which is, in my opinion, the worst model of Hyperdunk line.
Durable & lightweight upper, killer traction, well balanced cushion setup and tight lockdown – a full package for a reasonable price.

Now let’s treat our big guys out there. The Nike Air Max Audacity 2016 is a true center/ point forward shoe to ball in. You know they’re good when you see A. Davis rocking them in the actual NBA game.
So for this low price you’re getting Air Max unit in the heel area. That is something that you aren’t going to see on a budget model every day. Not only it sits here, but it actually performs as you expect from Air Max shoe – solid impact protection for comfortable landings and decent amount of that original air max bounciness.
Obviously, support is another key factor that makes this shoe a perfect performer for post players like me. With soft but at the same time supportive Mesh upper and a full package of support features the Nike Audacity really gets the job done in the support department.
The one and only problem for me was local courts. Yes, dirty courts aren’t something that this traction likes. But as with any other sneakers – keep them clean and they will keep you nicely.

This shoe is a freaking legend. It’s should be one of the best tries to make a perfect shoe and the only reason that kept them from perfection was outdoor usage, that’s it. Everything than that, is PERFECT for any type of player.
The blade traction performs beastly at any court conditions, so dusts aren’t a problem at all. Also, updated Jetlon cushioning is a solid fit for everyone – enough bounciness for big guys, while still keeping midsole low to the ground for that great court feel.
On top of that, unique shoe construction – high ankle area in front & very low in the back gives you both, support and really enjoyable range of motion as well.

So if you don’t mind to wear 2 year old shoe that still beats quite a few new generation models, then the BrandBlack J.Crossover is something to look for. Because at the end of the day, performance matters the most, right?
They do performer very similar to the Rare Metals – same full performance package, any weaknesses besides the fact they’re not so durable for outdoors. But for this price I think you shouldn’t be worried about that.
Premium upper is a really rare thing to see on shoes at this price, almost impossible. The woven forefoot & midfoot areas feel super comfy, no restrictions, impressive breathability (especially in the midfoot). And on the heel area we have synthetic leather which is for keeping heel area locked in all day, every day.
In addition, if you like to have a lot of bounce underneath your foot but still keep everything low profile and mobile, then the J.Crossover 2s’ have you covered.
