PERFORMANCE REVIEW

Just another phenomenal year for the Dame line, finding the ways to improve every single aspect of the shoe upon everything has been done in the past. Although this is only the fourth generation of this line but for now, this is the most stable & most improving signature line for adidas, in my opinion.

Everything about this shoe is solid and much improved form the last year – a lighter construction doesn’t hold you back, awesome material duo offers really nice sock like fit & solid foot containment as well, while the BOUNCE midsole pared up with that crazy looking traction will ensure robust grip with the floor and well-balanced ride for any type of guard orinted player. Or f*ck it. They’re perfect for any type of player.

The Kyrie 4‘s were made to do ONE specific action – break your opponent’s ankles. The very first second you lace them up, you wanna do bad things in them. I‘m telling you.

That buttery smoove transition which comes from the Kyrie line‘s most famous rounded midsole, together with Cushlon & Zoom Air cushioning makes for a truly outstanding experience, especially for a point guard who wants to excel his game.

Top of the line Flyknit generation. CHECK. Unlocked forefoot & bottom loaded Zoom Air unit duo for a low, responsive, yet bouncy ride. CHECK. Impressive support for a low-top performer. CHECK. Full control over your ankles due to low cut construction. CHECK. A $160 price tag which makes them “more for less” deal over the Mids. CHECK.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

You couldn’t ask for a better entrance in the signature sneaker business for P. George. Although this is only his very first signature model, the PG1 has already made some huge waves around the entire sneaker industry. And this isn’t without a reason.

A one piece bootie in tandem with nubuck/mesh upper makes for a one of the best fit experiences that I’ve ever had. It’s just seems like you wear a custom shoe made just for you. While the other parts of the shoe are not lagging behind as well.

The forefoot Zoom Air unit & Phylon cushioning might not offer you a lot of bounce in your step, but it definitely puts emphasis on swift response and along with impressively solid support for a low-top shoe, the PG1’s are one hell of an option for guards.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

So despite them lacking in the cushion department and somewhat in the support area as well, I really did enjoy spending my time in the UA Curry 4’s. This is yet another SUPER successful addition to the Curry’s line as Under

Armour keeps that production stability on a highest level possible. And I had to admit, these bad boys are the most advanced guard orientated hoop sneakers in the history. Yeah. I said that.

Outstanding responsiveness & mobility is the key reasons why the Curry 4 is capable to do all the things on court. And while these bad boys may not be a perfect fit for those explosive powerhouse players who appreciate having a bouncy ride and beefier support.  Guards should be extremely happy because we got a winner here.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

TRACTION was the issue for the AJ XXX1’s which kept them from getting a sweet spot on top. But this time around, the Jordan brand did everything right and with fixed beastly traction like on our “hall of famer” AJ XX9 (maybe not “like” but close to that), and everything else performing as a charm. The 32 is the shoe which brought the Jordan brand on a winning streak again.

2017 was the year of knitted uppers and these bad boys with THE BEST Flyknit implementation in the business ahead just stole the show. Soft & stretchy on top for some love to upper part of your foot, while on the sides you’re receiving some beefier Flyknit for keeping your foot locked-in on any day of the week.

How about cushion? Does the Zoom Air UNLOCKED forefoot & bottom loaded heel combos sounds good? Because this stuff is bananas, man. You’re receiving a perfect balanced blend between pure responsiveness & low ride in the forefoot, when the heel Zoom Air unit offers a TON of impact protection alongside with bouncy ride. So how is that, huh?

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

The Jordan Super.Fly 2017 made a huge jump forward from the last year’s model. They were so freaking close to make this a perfect shoe, but the cushion department was the only place where the Super.Fly 17’ felt down. Put the full-length ZOOM Air instead of REACT and it’s game over folks.

Still, as I said in the beginning, while the cushion for me was the only reason that held them from being a perfect performer in 2017, for other type of players, they’re already perfect. If stiffer, more guard aimed cushion setup is your thing, then there’s no doubt they will be a perfect pick up for you.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

The Hyperdunk line is THE MOST well-balanced, versatile team line ever created. That’s facts. And although this year’s generation didn’t care over that awesome full-length Zoom Air from the last year’s pair, in result causing the Hyperdunk ’17 going down a notch behind in terms of versatility. They still managed to find a sweet spot on my list.

Talking about that brand new REACT cushion, there’s not a lot of impact protection even for a heavier player like me. But if you can overcome this issue or you actually prefer having a stiffer base underneath to elevate that lighting fast responsiveness & buttery smoove heel to toe transition due to outsole’s rounded shape, you’re gonna love this setup.

While the Flyknit & TPU string duo is just another reason to enjoy them and that is something that Nike have tried to make it work on the Kobe 11’s but failed miserably. Yeah… They got it right this time.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

If your bank account doesn’t let you to spend $185 on the AJ 32’s but you still want to rock that jump man logo on your feet, I got you covered! Or I should say: Jordan brand got you covered, man. The AJ B.Fly might not be one of the most anticipated releases this year, actually, they snuck on retailer’s shelves unexpected, without any introduction, bringing us one hell of a performance package for just only $110.

From the very top to the very bottom, the B.Fly is just simply phenomenal budget friendly option from Jordan brand for basically every type of player. Still, in my opinion, this is the position where this shoe really unfolds as an outstanding performer.

They do share the same performance Wolven upper with the historic AJ 29 model, which does bring you that SUPER premium feel, that lightness & adaptive one-to-one fit, while still maintaining support in most crucial areas of the shoe.

Lastly, the B.Fly’s bottoms are powered up with the bottom loaded forefoot Zoom Air & Phylon combo for a pretty damn responsive mid-ride to be able to perform speedy forefoot launches, along with the Phylon heel area which gets really squishy and gives you HUGE amount of bounce with impact protection to go with.

BD RATING: 9.7/10

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

When I thought that the last year’s Crazy Explosive couldn’t get any better than that, adidas just came up with these bad boys – the Crazy Explosive ’17 Primeknit.

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. That’s why the whole lower portion was taken out and slapped onto the new gen sneaker, keeping that beastly, “STRAIGHT UP GLUE” traction and obviously, keeping that BOOST goodness as it was. While the whole upper got a HUGE upgrade by introducing the forged Primeknit which just merged everything into a near perfect hoop sneaker.

9.7/10 rate is some serious stuff right there.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW

The LeBron 15 takes the most innovative shoe reward of 2017. Hands down. No questions asked.

It’s just pleasure for me to see LeBron’s signature line evolving every single year. But this year, they took an ENORMOUSLY huge leap forward by creating a well-rounded, all-position oriented performer which surpass every single past generation. Just pure domination.

These “battle weapons” use the brand-new BattleKnit upper which not only does look hella futuristic, but this stuff sits right back after the AJ 32’s Flyknit implementation, making BattleKnit the second best knitted upper of all time.  Both of these two uppers do share basically the same work ethic – soft & stretchy on top, but heavy-duty on the sides, keeping your foot locked-in upon lateral movements. But that’s not it…

“This is the first time both Nike Zoom Air and Max Air have been used in a basketball shoe”, and I must admit, this whole Air “madness” just stole the show this year (this comes from a BOOST lover). It’s simple, if you like that BOUNCY ride & magnificent amount of impact protection, the LeBron 15 is what you need. You just can’t beat them.

Love them or hate them, the D Rose 8 is a true sleeper. Poor- looking from the outside but one hell of an impressive performer from the inside.

Yes, they do look like adidas run out of ideas creating another mad silhouette for D. Rose. But man… They’re so beastly on-court. Mad Performance in all areas.

No doubt, we got full-length BOOST goodness underneath for that SPLENDID performance all over the place. For guards, I think they do sit a bit too high of the ground to completely utilize player’s speed & quickness (lack of rapid responsiveness). But for our big guys out there, the D Rose 8 is a truly PERFECT performer, starting from that “Big man’s dream” cushion setup, and ending with robust support & just beastly traction if you like crossing over you opponents, like DeMarcus Cousins.

The UA Drive 4 has it all – killer traction which will last outdoors, beastly support for amazing lockdown in all areas, a well-balanced cushion setup for any type of player or play style, a super lightweight construction and ,of course, the simple but awesome upper for that lovely comfort & softness, while still maintaining that rock solid support for our power house big men to fight in the paint.

I almost forget to mention, they retail for $115… It’s a steal out of the box.

Even though they didn’t make into my TOP list this year, the AD nxt’s are still a solid performer nonetheless. If it seems like they would fit you nicely, don’t hesitate and grab them. They should be on sale right now.

If you need more info about how they did on the court, check my performance review.

And sorry for taking me that long to answer your question. Had I a rough schedule.

I think this is a solid, well-rounded performer, especially if you’re looking for responsive cushion, form-fitting upper & lightweight ride. Just be SUPER careful picking up the right size cuz it heavily relies on how good or bad support will be. You can check my performance review on them HERE.

Ohh… That’s so awesome to read! I appreciate your support bro!
