Best Basketball Shoes For Wide Feet (2017)

Let’s cover one of the most relevant topics in the basketball sneaker industry – Wide feet problem.  If you have red my reviews before, you’re already known that I’m a member of “Wide Feet club”. So I really know how hard and frustrating is to pick a suitable pair for your type of feet – the struggle is real.

Back in a day, choosing a pair of sneakers was a hundred times easier, the majority of shoes were suitable for every type of feet. But nowadays, it seems like the main sneaker companies forgot about us – models are getting narrower every single year. Luckily, I was able to found a few models that fit our big ass feet.

That being said, let’s dive into the Best Basketball Shoes For Wide Feet.

NOTE: To have in mind, this list was made in no particular order.

MY LIST

#1 PICK

AIR JORDAN XXX1

Weight: 398 g. / 14 oz

Pros: Premium Materials | Comfortable Fit | Great Impact Protection | Responsive Cushion Setup

Cons: Bad Overall Traction | Weak Rubber Compound

The Air Jordan XXX1 (31) is definitely a huge improvement from the AJ XXX (30). They are probably one of the best basketball sneakers for players with wide feet in terms of the actual fit – wide base, roomie forefoot area and soft, stretchable materials – heaven for wide footers.

Of course, the Jordan 31 isn’t a perfect shoe, but with that big list of tech and solid performance you’re really can’t be disappointed. Weave/Synthetic Leather upper offers lovely comfort feet without losing any support features. Full length unlocked Zoom gives you that awesome freedom and ability to feel the full potential of ZOOM Air cushion technology – great impact protection, solid court feel and really nice responsiveness. Man my brother has wide feet and did not know where to look. I really liked Adidas and it does not have an expensive price tag at all.
By the way have you seen Curry’s last basketball shoe? I was thinking of getting it but after I saw it, its design was horrible. But I wonder about its qualities. Do you have a review for it?

      Hey, Furkan!

I really really recommend you to choose one of the adidas models because they offer outstanding overall performance and with reasonable price you can’t go wrong. Personally, I would choose the adidas Crazy Explosive Primeknit. You can check the performance review HERE.

Now talking about Curry’s sneakers, I’m not a biggest fan of his shoes, but the quality and performance is nice and solid so it’s really up to you. Yeah, I do have a review on the latest Curry 3 model. You can check it right HERE.

      Hey, Julie

Probably the best two options out right now would be the adidas Dame 4 or adidas CrazyLight BOOST 2018. But you should also make it work by going with the adidas Harden Vol.2 or Nike LeBron 15.

Nike Air Jordan is an amazing shoe it never fails to impress its customer with extraordinary designs that balance comfort and color. Due to the shoes having a knitted front rather than open sides the laces have not much room to expand so would recommend anyone picking this shoe to go 1/2 or even 1 full size up. Other than that, its a great shoe and on arrived on time for my sons birthday. He loves it! Thank you
